Official Giveaway Rules: Tapatio x Socksmith Giveaway

1. Sponsor

This giveaway is sponsored by Socksmith Design, Inc. in partnership with Tapatio Hot Sauce (“Sponsors”).

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Socksmith, Tapatio, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.

3. Giveaway Period

The giveaway begins on the date and time the main giveaway post is published on the @tapatiohotsauce and @socksmith Instagram feeds and ends on the date listed in the caption (“Giveaway Period”). Entries submitted outside this timeframe will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

  1. Follow @tapatiohotsauce and @socksmith on Instagram
  2. Like the main giveaway post
  3. Tag 1 friend in the comments

All entry steps must be completed for the entry to be valid.

5. Prize

Two (2) winners will each receive:

  • 3 pairs of Socksmith x Tapatio Cotton Crew socks
  • 3 pairs of Socksmith x Tapatio “I’d Tap That” socks
  • 6 bottles of Tapatio hot sauce
  • 1 Tapatio hat
  • 1 Tapatio notebook with pen
  • 1 Tapatio reusable vinyl bag
  • 1 Tapatio mug
  • 1 Tapatio koozie
  • 1 Tapatio fanny pack
  • 1 Tapatio beanie

Approximate Retail Value (ARV) per winner: $280.

Prizes are non-transferable, and no cash or prize substitution is allowed except by the Sponsors.

6. Winner Selection

Winners (the commenter and the tagged friend) will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. 

7. Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted via direct message from the official @socksmith Instagram account within 72 hours of the giveaway closing. Winners must respond within 48 hours to claim their prize. If no response is received within the timeframe, a new winner may be selected.

Socksmith will never ask for payment or credit card information to claim a prize.

8. Rights Granted by Participants

By entering, participants grant Sponsors the right to use their name, Instagram handle, and entry for promotional purposes without further compensation unless prohibited by law.

9. General Conditions

Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other issue affects the integrity of the promotion. Sponsors are not responsible for late, lost, or misdirected entries.

10. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsors and Instagram from any claims or damages arising from participation or prize acceptance.

11. Privacy

Any personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering the giveaway and will not be shared or sold.

12. Agreement to Rules

Participation indicates the entrant’s full agreement to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsors, which are final and binding in all matters related to the giveaway.
